  1. Arabian Village

Upon entering Dubai Safari Park, your experience will start with a guided tour of the Arabian Village. As you make your way through the African grasslands, look out for the troop of over 70 baboons, cruise past a bunch of white rhinos, come face to face with giraffes, zebras and deer, and capture the mesmerizing sight of African lions basking in sunlight. Upon entering, you will pass by huge baobab trees, setting the scene for your tour of the African Savannah. See two of the continent's great apes (chimpanzees and gorillas). Watch lemur monkeys swinging from the trees, grab a household elephants, visit the UAE's biggest aviary exhibit, admire an array of snakes in the reptile house, and watch pygmy hippos swimming in the water. And last, but definitely not least, witness dinosaurs laying in the grasslands.

The Asian Village is distinguished by its orangutan population. A species originally from Indonesia and Polynesia, orangutans are a critically endangered species.
